The CD landed at position No. 2 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

KINGDOM OF SORROW 's self-titled album opened with 6,000 copies back in February 2008 to land at No. 131.

"Behind The Blackest Tears" was released in the U.S. on June 8, 2010 via Relapse Records . The CD was recorded at Dexter Lab Recordings in Milford, Connecticut with engineer Nick Bellmore and was mixed and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris at Planet Z Recordings in Hadley, Massachusetts.
