Hodgson gets hoop tryout
Fredericton's Kelsey Hodgson is among 15 players invited to a tryout camp for the Development Women's National Team which will compete at the Summer Universiade from Aug. 12-23 in Shenzhen, China. Hodgson, the all-time leading scorer in women's basketball over her five-year career at Cape Breton University, will attend the tryout camp at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, B.C. Aug. 2-5.
She's the only returning veteran from the team which represented Canada at the last World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia in 2009. Canada finished 15th at those games.
Also attending the tryout camp is Elyse Jobin of Moncton, wo attends Laval University, guard Justine Colley of Halifax, who attends Saint Mary's University. Four players going to the camp attend university in the states including Tamika Keane of Ajax, Ont., who attends Cleveland State University, Elle Kerfoot of Surrey, B.C., who attends Seattle University, Julie Seabrooke of North Vancouver, B.C. who attends the university of Colorado, Megan Pinkske of Coquitlam, B.C., who attends Western Washington University, and Kendal Ross of Sarnia, Ont., who attends Dayton University.
Lisa Thomaidis of the University of Saskatchewan is the head coach, with Shawnee Harle of the University of Calgary and Scott Edwards of the University of Alberta as assistants.
Canada will be in Pool C of the 16-team event, along with Russia, Poland and South Africa.

General description
Support various marketing communications activities for Alfa Laval in the USA, with the major emphasis
on implementation of the organization's new intranet.
Responsibilities
• Alfa Laval's new intranet - Alfa Laval Share
o Support multiple departments and units with the development of organization landing
pages
o Support the development of individual My Site pages
o Support managers and "super users/trainers" in their efforts related to implementation of
release 1 of the site
o Provide support for development of USA local site
• Marketing Communications support
o Assist in the development and post various items to existing intranet - ALround
o Provide logistics support for trade shows and conferences
o Measurement and statistics reporting for www.alfalaval.us
o General department support as assigned by manager
Requirements
• Degree candidate, major or emphasis on Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or
similar.
• Familiarity with marketing communications concepts and tools.
• Comfortable and active with social media platforms and tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
o Desired: Knowledge of SharePoint and FrontPage.
Timeframe
• August - December 2011
• 15-20 hours per week
