The condition of Dimitrios Iliopoulos has been upgraded from critical to fair condition, while his wife, Stavroula Iliopoulos, 51, is listed in critical condition at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, according to hospital spokesman Robert Cavanaugh. Top Pre-Season 2012 Missouri High School Football Prospects
Here is my list of the top 18, “pre-season” Missouri High School football prospects for 2012. This is just a listing and they are in no particular order. I’m sure there will be others as the football season unfolds. To add somebody you think I may have missed, add their name, stats, and other information in the comments section.
1. Dorial Green-Beckham, 6′ 6″ 220 pounds, Receiver from Hillcrest High School. The best receiver in the state and in the country who’s also a 3-sport star. Many have him as the top prospect in the class of 2012. Excellent runner, can go up for the ball, is a deep threat or a possession type receiver. Highlight video vs. Marshfield can be seen, Here!
2. Evan Boehm, 6′ 3″ 290 pounds, Center from Lee’s Summit West High School. Another talented 3-sport star who is considered by many to be the top at his position in the country. Committed to Missouri.
3. Donavin Newsom, 6′ 3″ 225 pounds, Linebacker from Parkway North High School. As a Junior, had 91 tackles, five sacks and two interceptions while also scoring 10 TD’s as a backup running back. Committed to Missouri. See his highlight videos, Here
4. Ondre Pipkins, 6′ 3″ 325 pounds, Defensive Tackle from Park Hill High School. A big body who’s quick on his feet. Colleges are all over him as he’s coming on strong this offseason.
5. Morgan Steward, 6′ 0″ 190 pounds, Running Back from Staley High School. As a Junior, rushed for over 1,500 yards while scoring 15 TD’s. Certainly has the ability to break off a big run at any time. Committed to Missouri. See his highlight video, Here! 8. Edmond Ray, 6′ 5″ 290 pounds, Defensive Tackle from Ritenour High School. Second team all-state player with 74 tackles and 8 sacks as a Junior. Really good speed for a player his size.
9. Nathanael Lohn, 6′ 3″ 265 pounds, Defensive End from Staley High School. First team all-state with 98 tackles and 12 sacks as a Junior. Quick, strong, and aggressive player. See his highlight video, Here! 13. Michael Scherer, 6′ 4″ 230 pounds, Linebacker from Mary Institute Country Day School. Committed to Missouri. Is all over the field playing defense and making plays. Also a pretty good running back.
