Carb Rebuild Kit - ArcticChat.com - Arctic Cat Forum
I feel your pain,i looked everywhere and could not find one anywhere. unfortunately i think you will have to go to one of the sites with the diagrams, and select your parts. $125 will get you i think, float set up,jets, vacuum assembly with the needle and diaphram, pilot screw, another gasket, and a couple other things. i think thats about the only way... although if i were to bet i would say that kit is SOMWHERE online. While a carb kit from HD may contain the right gaskets and float needle, I highly doubt if jets and replacement slide needles other than the pilot jet will be compatible with your ATV because the jetting in the HD is so much larger to handle the additional engine displacement. Most online parts vendors will sell individual carburetor parts specific for your ATV. May not be in a convenient kit form but it is at least you can get the correct part you need and only the parts you want. I did look at the above posted HD link and all i saw was what they call a stage one performance kit. maybe I missed something? If that is all they offer not much of it will work for your atv other than gaskets and the float needle. The PMS screw and the float bowl screws are good replacement parts that should work though. Unless rejetting for mods all jets should not require replacement. About the only part that wears out is the float needle. Occasionally the float will go bad, plastic floats start leaking or foam floats absorb moisture and or fuel making them heavier then a new one. The slide needle may show wear and the shaft for the butterfly after 1000's of hours use. Perhaps the rubber diaphragm needing replacement due to age cracking or damage. The float bowl gasket is another part often replaced. 99% of the time unless you have a bad float needle all you have to do is completely disassemble all parts, soak in carb cleaner and blow out every little passageway with compressed air insuring all internal parts are a clean as the were in a brand new carburetor. If problems still exist after this it is usually due to improper cleaning (you missed cleaning something) Hole in rubber diaphragm or a problem in re-assembly. Quite often not getting a good seal on the vacuum cap to diaphragm. To get better results when searching for specific information, Try this trick.
